    I’ll get to know your organization through a thorough discovery process. You and your team will have an opportunity to share open and honest perspectives about programmatic goals and revenue needs and challenges.

    Based on what we discover, I’ll craft or refine your case for support and supplemental grant fundraising materials to help you make the best impression on grant funder audiences.

    Prospect Research & Relationship Mapping

    I’ll also conduct independent prospect research, relationship-mapping, and a peer organization review to formulate a targeted prospect list and preliminary cultivation plans for high-priority prospects.

  • An action plan to advance your fundraising efforts

  • Recommendations for optimizing roles, responsibilities, and workflows for staff and board to support grant fundraising efforts. 

  • A targeted list of funder prospects with cultivation plans for high-priority prospects

  • All the core materials you’ll need to submit applications that cut through the noise

  • A grant writer develops messaging and applies for grants on behalf of an organization. While this can be part of the work I do with your nonprofit, our initial work together is focused on formulating a realistic plan aligned with your broader fundraising and organizational goals. I'm first and foremost a thought partner and advisor, giving you the confidence and tools to  ensure every application is worthwhile and every dollar serves your actual needs. After we develop your Grant Fundraising Roadmap, I offer optional execution support through ongoing grant advising or grant management services. 

  • I support small nonprofits across Eastern Massachusetts with a wide range of missions. I have a particular passion for issues impacting women, youth development, education, and social services. 

  • I’m comfortable working with any tools you have in place, from your Excel spreadsheet collection to RaisersEdge, Salesforce, Little Green Light, or whatever database powers your purpose.

  • Our work will guide your efforts for the next 12–18 months as you secure funding for your current programs. As your organization evolves and grows, your programs may expand or change, and you'll naturally expand your list of funders. I recommend refreshing your grant strategy annually to ensure you build on your successes.
